World Bog Snorkelling Championship – 31st Aug

The event takes place in a bog on the outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells, 11am start.
Entry fee £15

Two trenches 60 yards long have been dug out of the peat bog and competitors have to swim two lengths of the bog wearing a snorkel and flippers. No recognised swimming stroke may be used, fancy dress is optional.

Prizes: 1st and 2nd prizes for fastest male, fastest female, fastest local, fastest junior, fastest local junior, fancy dress. All entrants are awarded a medal.
