The three hundred acre nature reserve and traditional hill farm is managed by Radnorshire Wildlife Trust. The farm has been certified Organic and has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Wildlife found on the reserve include otters, rare butterflies, bats and red kites. The 16th century Grade II* listed Longhouse (a traditional style of Welsh farmhouse) has been restored and converted into a visitor centre.
