A wind turbine located at the Welsh Assembly Government’s Aberystwyth offices, built in 2009 and costing £48,000 has been generating a monthly average of just £5 worth of electricity.
The installers were apparently sceptical that the location would provide the turbine with enough wind to make it economically viable.
The Welsh Assembly Government have defended its performance.
